Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa) and Strathmore University (SU) Forge a Partnership to Enhance the Research Lifecycle for their Researchers

Nairobi, Kenya- Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa) is delighted to announce a strategic partnership with Strathmore University, implemented through the Strathmore Research and Consultancy Centre (SRCC). With a shared vision of empowering its research community, this collaboration brings together TCC Africa’s expertise in research capacity building and resource mobilization and SRCC’s proficiency in fund administration and project management.

With over fifteen years of experience, TCC Africa has successfully equipped researchers with the necessary skills to navigate the research lifecycle through tailored science and scholarly communications, and mentorship programmes. Strathmore Research and Consultancy Centre (SRCC), the commercial arm of Strathmore University, possesses a wealth of experience in managing and administering research funds, with accreditations from esteemed institutions such as USAID, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as various universities in collaborative research. This is done as project funds or tailored researcher funds, as principal investigators.

This collaboration aims to provide a seamless end-to-end solution for researchers, from capacity building and mentorship, supporting project execution, efficient fund administration and management to project completion. Researchers will benefit from the collective expertise and extensive networks of both institutions, culminating in research that is impactful and sustainable.

Representatives from both institutions gathered together for the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), symbolizing their commitment to the agreement.

“We are thrilled to embark on this partnership together with the Strathmore Research and Consultancy Centre (SRCC) team, as we aim to tackle the various challenges faced by our researchers, and are looking forward to creating effective end-to-end solutions that will empower our research communities,” commented Joy Owango, the Executive Director of TCC Africa.
