Empowering African Research: Digital Science and TCC Africa Train 1,000+ Scholars on Dimensions Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Digital Science, in collaboration with the Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa), successfully introduced Dimensions across multiple institutions in Africa. This initiative has already empowered 1,071 researchers, librarians, and academics from Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Tanzania through dedicated training sessions, reinforcing the platform’s role in enhancing research discovery, open access, and scholarly visibility.By equipping researchers with advanced data-driven insights, the initiative is helping African institutions improve their global research visibility, streamline academic publishing, and drive open-access adoption.

The partners will proceed with their expansion across Africa, with further plans to introduce Dimensions in more countries and institutions in the coming months.
